Know "Your Why”

I’d like to address a very important issue. I call it “Your Why” or more clearly, your reason why you are doing something.
What Is “Your Why”?
“Your Why” is the heart of the reason why you do the things you are doing to help you achieve your goals or dreams.
No matter what you do in life, you must have motivation or a reason; otherwise, you will give up and quit or simply find something else to do.
I hear people talk about what they would like to do or how they would like to have money or live a certain lifestyle. But then, they don’t do anything about it. So I figure, they really were not serious about it.
People who are successful in achieving their goals and dreams learn early on that they have to do certain things in order to accomplish anything.
One of them is to know what I describe as “Your Why.”
Ignore Negative People
Trust me, other people will throw all kinds of negatives at you. They will have all kinds of reasons why you can’t do what you want. This group can include family, so-called friends, and others who don’t believe in you.
Just ignore them. Unfortunately, this goes with the territory of trying to accomplish your goals and dreams.
If you have failed, so what? Everyone fails. Everyone who becomes “successful” has experienced setbacks and failures.
The difference is that such people learn to see failures and setbacks as learning experiences and they move on.
At the same time, you must have a realistic plan to accomplish your goals or dreams. Just sitting around hoping something good will happen will not accomplish anything.
Fact is, to accomplish anything You must Do Something.
So stop feeling sorry for yourself. Get up and get going. You have to know why you are doing what you are doing in the core of your being. You must be ready to explain why, but you don’t have to share it with those who will shoot you down.
Helping Prospects with Their “Why”
If you are involved in a project or even a business where you are trying to help others accomplish a goal, you must be sure they understand their own why.
Those who are involved in recruiting others know this very well. They end up spending a lot of time trying to get people to do something, but they don’t. If anything, they just quit. The primary reason is that they were not clear about their own reasons for doing what they were involved in.

Let’s say the desire is to quit a job. He hates what he is doing. Is he clear why he wants to quit? Does he know what he wants to do and why? This is what I am trying to point out. Until he is clear to his core as to “why and how come”, he will not have the strength to stick with the effort and will give up and quit.
Don’t let that happen.
The Economic Crisis Should Motivate
One of the challenges of our day is helping others understand why an ordinary job (employment) probably will not help them accomplish their overall life dreams.
But the economic crisis of September 2008 should help them understand why they just cannot believe things will be okay.
Many people lost their jobs, lost their pensions and hopes for retirement. Many quickly found themselves way over their heads in credit card debt.
This clearly points out that you must step back and reevaluate what you are doing when it comes to earning money. This site exists to help in this important matter.
